Ratings Update for Wednesday - October 22, 2008

Took a big hit from the prior week in total viewers and fell behind America’s Top Model in the 18-49 demographic (it’s never good to be ranked below a CW show). The report on DVR viewing from the week of Pushing Daisies’ premiere shows that it did gain over a million time-shifted viewers that week, but that's not too much of a boost. I think it is time to go to DefCon 1 on this.

8 PM EST Timeslot:
1 - World Series (Phillies vs. Rays) (13.10 million viewers, 4.1 rating)
2 - The New Adventures of Old Christine / Gary Unmarried (7.93 million viewers, 2.5 rating)
3 - Knight Rider (7.23 million viewers, 2.2 rating)
4 - Pushing Daisies (5.67 million viewers, 1.9 rating)
5 - America’s Next Top Model (4.38 million viewers, 2.1 rating)

Rating is for the 18-49 demographic.

I just wanted to let you all know that there is an effort to save pushing daisies being organized. There is to be a mass fan mail in to ABC starting on November 14th.

Fans are encouraged to send in pies (paper or real), letters, daisies (paper or real), daisy seeds, etc. for as many days in a row as they possibly can. We are hoping to flood their mailboxes with fan letters begging them to renew Pushing daisies.

The details are still in the works. You can check out the updates as they happen at this thread:

ALSO, there is a petition getting signatures here:
http://www.petitiononline.com/daisies/petition.html

technically, you can sign it as many times as you want with one email address. [believe me, :)]

Tell as many people as you can to watch the show! Many don't realize that it's back on the air, and in danger of being canceled!

Signed petition, wrote ABC, joined multitudinous Facebook groups about PD, sent a small donation I hope you received since you can send more with collected donations than we can afford to send individually. Crossing fingers!!
