WE HAVE SURPASSED $1,000 IN DONATIONS!!!!!
Pushing Daisies fans have definitely stepped up to send a message to ABC that they want their favorite show to live on!!! I just placed another order today (details below) and will continue to place orders as frequently as possible as long as the donations continue to roll in.
Which brings us to decision on how we want to march forward from here. We will have sent close to $1,000 in flowers to ABC (including the next order for tomorrow), so do we want to shift our donations away from flowers (which will look nice for a few days, but eventually will be thrown away) to something with more long-reaching benefits? I sent one shipment of daisy seeds to ABC and could send more. These are nice because they can donate them to local charities and I know some other sites are promoting this approach as well. Also, savepushingdaisies.net is promoting a Help the Bees campaign and a Pies for the Poverished campaign. I have not seen any additional information on the latter, but on the Bees campaign there is information on how to donate. I could pool together donations from this site and send those to the Bees campaign and the Pies campaign once it gets up and running. Then I will forward the details on these donations on to ABC.
So as you continue to send your donations, indicate if you want your money to go to flowers, seeds, and/or the Bees/Pie campaigns. Also, for those who sent donations in the last few days, if you want to specify how I should direct your money, just send me an Email a paulswhite@mail.com.

You have to setup a Donate Paypal Button to make it easier to donate...look under merchant tools in paypal.
Daisy seeds would be much cheaper to purchase and send and could make more change. Plus then ABC could donate them, etc and not just toss them a week later.

Good idea on the daisy seeds. Maybe I will mix some seed shipments in as well. We are also working on sending pies to shelters, but more on that later.

I would suggest using Sandy's list of names instead of just sending to ABC. Some mailroom employee could be taking them since they are ABC, and it could never get to anyone of importance.

Hey guys, you might be interested to know there is an interview that just went up on Fancast with Executive Producer Bryan Fuller and they are looking for comments on whether fans would watch a movie and how you feel about so many plot lines being left unfinished if it is the end.
BF says he would up to making a Pushing Daisies movie or comic book and also touches on the possibility of changing networks (like Scrubs did).

Paul, I have a suggestion for this website.
I think it would be a great idea to have a "sticky" section — something viewable as soon as one lands here — with quick links to things fans can do, such as the posts that contain information about the write-in campaign, petitions, etc.
Perhaps you could put it in the sidebar or create a future-dated post (that way it will always appear on top).
Just a thought :)
